This storytelling site offers a condensed storytelling in blog form, inspired from my dissertation book.
The stories I am telling are to be found on the landing page Airport Aura in random order. You can also click on the Airport Aura Logo on the upper left side of the menu. Important themes and architectural theories are cross-linked to other blog posts, which further explain them. I have made sure that the clickable references open in a new tab, so as not to leave the blog page you are reading.
I have concluded that random blog posts about certain themes, which are in the blog title, are easier to pick and read. Unlike the more scientific feel of my book, here the stories shall be shorter and more reader-friendly, and appeal to readers from all parts of life.
My storytelling is not only aviation-based, but interspersed with topics, which in the broader context complete the history of airport architecture. There will also be stories about current events, based on the experiences of my travels. Most of the photographs are by me, unless those that are stated otherwise. I will add new posts to the storytelling blog in due time, this is an ongoing project.
My book was published under the Open Access agreement with the Swiss National Science Foundation and my publisher VDF. Meaning that I agree to the free and unrestricted sharing of my scientific research. That comprises the correct referencing of my sources, which I am duly committed to.
All the stories are written by me, based on sources I’ve researched and mentioned below each story.
Thank you for reading!
